Our Expert Team

Dr. Brandon Tran

General Dentist

A Houston native who loves being able to serve people from all walks of life and enjoys the rich cultural experiences that the city offers. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA where he discovered his love for dentistry. In 2018, he moved to Mesa, AZ to attend the Arizona School of Dentistry Oral Health. During his last year of dental school, he externed at five different federally qualified health centers across the nation where he was able to gain tremendous dental experience by serving the undeserved communities. He graduated from dental school with multiple recognition awards and scholarships, and moved back to Texas in order to help serve his fellow Texans.

Dr. Tran’s priority in patient care is to be compassionate and focus on holistic wellbeing. With the mouth being the entryway for all things else, he aims to provide you with the best, effective and safe care possible! Learning never stops for Dr. Tran. He not only loves to help his patients, but he enjoys spending time learning new techniques and skills. He is passionate about learning from mentor doctors as well as from research articles and continuing education courses. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Aside from dentistry, Dr. Tran has passion for trying new cuisines, lion and dragon dancing, traveling, volunteering and meditating.

Clinic Coordinator

Diana, your Patient Care Coordinator at Mia Family Dental. Our practice has been proudly serving the Houston community since 2024, but my passion for the dental field goes way back to 2009 when I was still in high school. (Let’s keep the math a mystery!)

Throughout my career, I've embraced a variety of roles, from receptionist and insurance coordinator to dental assistant, corporate manager, and more. Out of all these positions, being a Patient Care Coordinator truly holds a special place in my heart. I find immense joy in educating patients about their oral health and helping them achieve both optimal dental health and the beautiful smiles they envision.

When I'm not at the office or hitting the books for school, you'll likely find me on a beach somewhere, soaking up the sun. I absolutely adore traveling, especially taking cruises with my parents and children. As a proud Houstonian, I'm grateful for our endless sunny days and warm weather.
